So, my parents came up this weekend for my bridal shower and cleaned my floors for me. That was super nice and it made a HUGE difference. Also, we made a discovery. The horrible, awful, death smell that we thought was Indian food was in fact....... Moth Balls! Who knew? They seriously smell terrible. I would recommend finding anything else to keep bugs away. So we extricated to evil moth balls wherever we found them and that made an improvement as well. I think it will just take some time for the smell to fade completely. My bridal shower was a lot of fun. I got an amazing amount of kitchen stuff that I absolutely love and I actually REALLY needed. It makes the kitchen look that much better. Dan and I bought our wedding rings last Friday and had our last branch activity last night. Sad. I'm still trying to find a place for everything here and trying to make it look halfway decent. I tried to put pictures up, but for some reason it didn't work. Sorry.

oooh, you're becoming so domestic. I just love setting up new apartments, it makes me feel all creative. I'm sure you'll get lots more awesome stuff at your reception - You'll need a u-haul to get it all back to kansas :)

If your apartment was used by people that needed that many mothballs, you may want to invest in some sort of pest management. If you want to go green, try cedar oil. It won't kill anything, but is good for detering insects.
