I know I know...finally! or I thought you already were?

Dan and I are engaged! We're getting married! Yay!!

So, here is how it happened:
I had my last final yesterday at 4:10 (ugh) so he picked me up after I was done. He was wearing his suit and he got his hair cut and he looked really nice. So, I was thinking, "Well crap, I look like a slob. Where are we going?". No where. We went to his house and he sat me down on a chair in the middle of his living room and said wait here. So, I did. Then, he came back and he read me this long super sweet poem that he wrote me. It was so cute. It all rhymed and he apparently spent forever writing it.
Almost a month. Cute boy.
The last line of the poem was, "and so I ask my question, Britany, will you marry me?". Awwwggghh. Well, being the person that I am, in response I said, "Are you sure?". I know, romantic right? But! I did say yes! Then, he gave me my beautiful ring. It is a 1/2 carat princess cut solitair diamond with the best cut, color, and clarity.

I know nothing about rings, but he has really been doing his research. I guess they have wedding bands for the solitairs now that kind of wrap around it, so that's what we're going to do. You can customize it any way you want and it just like goes right over the original band so it looks like one ring. Pretty cool. After he gave me my ring, he said,"I got it because it's perfect in every way, but it's simple. Like you." I thought that was pretty darn cute. So, there it is. I'm engaged!!!! Finally... about time... etc. lol
