I really love my new place. It's been fun having it to myself the last couple of days as well. I think I would really love living by myself if I could afford it. Things are going okay around here. I really like having Dan around again, i sort of like him. I don't really have a job anymore which is disappointing. They're doing budget cuts in the department and apparently I'm one of those cuts. I have been actively trying to find another job, but to no avail. I really need a job. lol. Other than that, things are pretty much the same. I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy myself.
This last week was crazy. My brother and sister in law had a baby!! Elliette Olivia Nelson. She's beautiful and she's going to be a basketball player. awesome. Also, my mom was in the hospital this weekend so I drove to Wichita to help her. It wasn't anything too serious, she had her gall bladder removed. It went really well and she's feeling a ton better. It's a really weird experience to see one of your parents int he hospital. They look small and helpless, I wasn't a fan. I don't want school to start, ugh.

I'm sorry about your mom. I know what you mean--- I hate hospitals because all the memories of seeing my Grandma, sister, and mom sick in a hospital gown is not fun!
