Change

I realized today that I am starting my Junior year of college tomorrow. It seems so surreal to me. Just yesterday I was graduating from high school. When I got to Manhattan 2 years ago I had a very defined opinion about almost everything. I was positive what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be. Marriage was never in any of my plans. So, I was pondering all of this today and I realized how different I am today from the girl 2 years ago as a freshman. I think in many ways I've improved, but who can really say for sure? Gradually my opinions have changed, especially about families and marriage, and my major has changed 3 times. Now, people are going to read this and think that Dan changed my mind about marriage, but sadly that wasn't the case. How romantic would that be? haha. No, I changed my mind. Very gradually. I guess continuously being rebuked by the first presidency and Pres.Knapp will do that to you.

My point is that I am no longer the person that I came here being, and I think I like it. I'm enjoying my life the way it is now. I can't ask for anything more. I am so happy with the way things have panned out thus far and I'm excited to see what will happen next and who I will be in another year. My major is now English, which I'm really enjoying. Another very important lesson learned: My mom really is always right. It's spooky. She told me 2 years ago to major in English. Go figure right? So, anyways. That is what I was pondering on this fine Sunday afternoon.

English major? Gah! Now ask yourself, is an English degree really worth all that money in tuition? Just kidding I am sure there will be some good jobs out there for ya. :)

You'll be great at English, it is after all your native tongue.

Eenglash is al fine 'n good 'n stuff, but ifn you ever makes me talking likes its wrong, you member dat Iz is bigger than youz iz.

I realized that Mom was always right when her fashion advice got me positive comments from girls. I've been hooked ever since.

Be careful, the 'just live your life as it is' philosophy is what got me prepped to be married.

I agree, I have seen you change in the two years that I had gotten to know you. You have matured a lot and you seem like an over all happier person. I miss you Brit and I hope life is going well for you. I will think of when I watch the office on Thursday nights.
